Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-06-29. Plain-English: we collect only what's needed to reply, build, and host. We don't sell your data, ever.

What we collect

When you submit our contact or consultation forms we receive the information you give us — typically name, business name, email, phone (optional), service interest, and your message. Forms are processed by Netlify Forms; submissions are stored in our Netlify account and forwarded to contact@amplysystems.com.

When you load our pages your browser sends standard request data (IP address, user agent, referrer, timestamps). Our hosting provider, Netlify, logs this for security and analytics. We do not currently run any third-party visitor tracking on the public marketing site.

The Visibility Report tool queries Google Places using a business name and location you provide. The query is sent through Google's APIs; we do not retain the results unless you separately submit your email to receive a copy of the report.

What we use it for

Form data is used to respond to your inquiry, scope and price work, and follow up on active engagements. We may add your contact information to a small internal CRM (Notion / a Google Sheet) used solely by the founder. We do not run automated email marketing campaigns and do not subscribe you to a newsletter without explicit opt-in.

If we become a paying client of yours, additional information you share (login credentials, access keys, content) is used solely to deliver the engagement. We use industry-standard secrets management for any credentials and never store them in plain text in our codebase.

Cookies & analytics

We run Google Tag Manager (container ID GTM-5PK5HCD2) which loads Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-GERJPTXH35) to understand how visitors find and use the site — pages viewed, traffic sources, and aggregate engagement. GA4 sets first-party cookies (typically `_ga`, `_ga_*`) that last up to 2 years. We do not run Google Ads remarketing, Meta Pixel, or any advertising trackers. Embedded Calendly and Google Maps frames may set their own cookies per their respective policies.

You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by setting your browser to block third-party cookies and the googletagmanager.com domain.

Third parties we use

Netlify (hosting + form submissions), Google Fonts (CSS and woff2 files), Google Places API (Visibility Report — proxied server-side via Netlify Function), Google Maps embed (contact page), Google Tag Manager + Google Analytics 4, Calendly (scheduling), and Formspree (legacy fallback). Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

You can request a copy of any information we hold about you, request correction, or request deletion, by emailing contact@amplysystems.com. We'll respond within 30 days. If you're a California resident, the CCPA gives you specific rights to know, delete, and opt out of any sale of personal information — we do not sell personal information.

Data retention

Form submissions are retained for as long as the engagement is active plus 7 years for accounting purposes, then deleted. Server logs are retained per Netlify's defaults (typically 30 days).

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we'll update the date at the top of this page. Substantial changes will be flagged via email to active clients.
